Little boy meets a wallaby at Sydney Wildlife World, Source: Sydney Wildlife WorldSydney Wildlife World is celebrating its first birthday these school holidays with two new walk-through environments!

Now visitors can come face-to-face with wallabies in the Semi-Arid Grasslands, and get up close and personal with the colourful birds in Flight Canyon.

Sydney Wildlife World’s new friends, Yarra the Lizard and Karri the Koala, will also stop by every day during the holidays. Kids can meet these fun characters between 11 am and 3 pm.

Just by visiting Sydney Wildlife World these holidays, you could be a winner! They’re giving away prizes including Kinder Happy Hippo packs, Locally Wild books, and $1, 000 cash!

But no one who visits the park will go away empty handed. Everyone who visits during the school holidays will receive a free Kinder Happy Hippo chocolate. Yum!

It’s been a big twelve months for Sydney’s first indoor wildlife sanctuary. Since then they’ve opened the walk-through butterfly enclosure and interactive koala area. They’ve also introduced daily bird and reptile shows.

Not to mention all the new arrivals! In the last year plenty of babies were born at the centre, including three koalas, two bilbies, and a wallaby!

Sydney Wildlife World is open until 10 pm every day. Adult passes are $28.50 and children’s tickets are $14.50. A range of discounted family passes are also available, starting from $34. Visitors can save 10% on their entry fee just by booking online.
