Sydney Art on Show
Art Sydney is one of the largest annual celebrations of visual arts in Sydney. This year’s event will being together more than 80 leading Australian galleries at the Royal Hall of Industries.
The galleries will showcase new works from established and emerging local artists. Art Sydney gives collectors and art newbies the change to view and purchase a wide range of art styles, mediums, and subjects.
While you’re there, why not take an art walk with one of Australia’s leading art writers or gallery directors. These free walks are a great way to discover the show’s highlights, and learn more about these masterpieces from the experts. The talks focus on particular subjects like indigenous art, contemporary prints, interior design, and architecture.
It will all begin on Thursday October 25 with First Night, an exclusive event preview. Tickets for the VIP event cost $60 including complimentary drinks, live entertainment, and a fair catalogue. Guests on First Night will also receive free entry to another day of the festival.
Tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sundays event cost $15 when you book online. Early birds will also receive a free art bag with the price of admission. But if you’re not that organized, tickets will be available at the door. They’ll cost $20 for adults and $15 for concessions. Children under 15 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
