Darbar in inner city Glebe offers authentic Indian cuisine at affordable prices.
The bustling eatery uses recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation to create spicy Tandoori chicken, mild lamb kormas, and delicious desserts.
The only thing that tends to worry me with Indian is the heat. But Darbar have this covered, with their menu indicating which dishes are mild, medium, and hot. That should keep everyone happy!

Mexican With a Difference at Mad Mex

Mexican With a Difference at Mad Mex

Mad Mex has just opened in Sydney, and its already earning a reputation as one of the tastiest, and most affordable, Mexican joints in town.
The Darlinghurst eatery serves up Baja-Mexican fare. For the average punter like you and me, that means less cheese and no sour cream. Now this may shock our Western sensibilities, but give it a chance. Instead there are quality meats, fresh sauces, and a whole lot less fat. Won’t your waistline just love that!
But chef Rafael Nazario doesn’t skimp on the classic dishes though. His specialties include tacos, burritos, and grilled meats with fresh salsas.

The man himself will visit the Sydney City store to celebrate the launch of his latest fragrance. He’ll also answer questions from his adoring fans. And …read more
