Bukhara offers a unique dining experience in Sydney. Far from just another Indian restaurant, this spot serves up an exciting blend of Southern Indian, Mauritian, and Creole cuisine.

The restaurant uses traditional southern Indian cooking methods, with plenty of spices, curry leaves, and coconut milk. Their tandoori dishes are also authentically prepared in a tandoori clay oven oven.

If that sounds a little too intense for your tastes, the Mauritian meals may be more your speed. These light dishes use plenty of fresh tomatoes and seafood, perfect for even the most delicate palate.

Some of the restaurant’s signature dishes include baby lamb shanks masala, spicy crab Creole, ginger mint fish, and tandoori lamb cutlets.

The décor makes Bukhara feel a lot more luxurious than the money you’ll pay for this dining experience. In fact, Bukhara is cheaper than most of the chic eateries in Double Bay. A wide variety of mains are available for less than $20.
