Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines

Have you caught those ads for the first Red Bull Flugtag in Sydney? These guys are insane, and you can catch all theFlugtag action live this Sunday.

So what is the Red Bull Flugtag? The competition involves some manpowered flying machines and loony lads attempting to launch themselves off a six metre ramp. We all know humans can’t really fly, or at least they can’t fly far, so it’s a good thing there’s water below!

Pilots are judged by the distance of their flight, the creativity of their machine, and their preflight performance, making this the ultimate spectator sport.

It’s like nothing Sydney’s ever seen before, and it’s all free!
