Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman Prepare for “Australia” Premiere
Sydney will be in the global spotlight tonight as the stars come out for the highly-anticipated premiere of Australia. Director Baz Luhrmann and his creative visionary wife Catherine Martin will be there, alongside stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman and their partners Keith Urban and Deborra-Lee Furness.
Baz only finished the World War II epic few days ago, and with a reported six endings to choose from everyone will be wondering how it turns out!
An epic film deserves an epic red carpet, and that’s just what we’ll get. It will be 135 meters long and 8 meters wide!
It all takes place at the Greater Union on George Street. The stars are scheduled to arrive from 5:30 pm, but you’ll want to arrive earlier if you hope to catch a glimpse of them.
Motorists are reminded that George Street will be closed to traffic from 2 pm today until 5 am on Wednesday morning.
