Affordable Accommodation at Sydney Olympic Park
Sydney Olympic Park is still one of the city’s hottest spots thanks to the major concerts of Acer Arena, rugby league matches every weekend, and heaps more.
But until recently you had to splash around some cash if you wanted to stay there. The Mercure and Ibis hotels are gorgeous, but let’s face it: they’re not in everyone’s price range.
Now there’s a more affordable alternative, with this week’s opening of a 156-room Formule 1. The accommodation is modest, but it is clean and comfortable. It’s also within walking distance of the park’s stadiums, athletic and aquatic centres, transport, and restaurants.
All rooms sleep up to three people, making Formule 1 a winner for families and budget-conscious travellers.
