Artsy Pyrmont Festival
Inner city Sydney will buzz with creativity on Saturday when the Pyrmont Art Festival hits town.
More than 300 12-inch square canvasses will be displayed on the day, forming a colourful quilt of paintings, mosaics, photographs and more. Local musos will also play to make this truly a creative day out.
If you see something you like, why not take it home? The festival provides a great opportunity to pick up a bargain, and support Sydney’s local artists with 75% of the proceeds benefiting them directly.
All participating artists are eligible to win the Pyrmont Art Prize, worth more than $8000. A people’s choice award winner will also be selected.
The Pyrmont Art Festival will go ahead rain, hail or shine. In the event of wet weather, the festival will be held in the nearby Star City Casino.
