Big G Brings Orchestra to the Zoo

by Lauren on December 26th, 2007

Big G, Source: Big G Conducts websiteAustralia’s newest children’s entertainment company Big G Conducts will launch their brand new concert series next month at Taronga Zoo.

It might seem like a strange setting for a concert, but it’s not so unusual at all when you realise the show is a musical animal hunt journey. Animal Tracks features classical pieces like Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals” and Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” alongside pop gems like Elton John’s “Crocodile Rock.”

Big G, aka maestro George Ellis, will conduct the show with the help of his friends Bertie Bott and Sugarplum. This show is a great way to expose youngsters to the world of music.

After the concert, little ones can chat to the orchestra and see Taronga’s animals at a discounted price.
