Sydney’s always been gay-friendly, but now it’s soon to be official. Some of Sydney’s busiest suburbs are set to become homophobia-free zones. Taronga Zoo’s newest exhibit, Great Southern Oceans, opened its doors today.
The multimillion dollar enclosure is home to 56 aquatic Australian animals including three types of seals, sea lions, two breeds of penguins, and pelicans. Care has been taken to recreate the creatures’ natural habitat.
