Decoding Sydney Kids
It often seems like Sydney teens are speaking a foreign language. Whether you’re an uncool adult or a visitor to the area, their slang terms are confusing to say the least. But if you follow my advice, you’ll be chatting easily with the local kids in no time.
If Sydney kids don’t like something, you may hear them say it’s “lame,” “hectic” or “chat.” If they like something, they’ll typically say it’s “mad,” “sick,” or the more enthusiastic “fully sick.”
