Families Rule at Chicken and Fishhead

by Lauren on January 18th, 2008

Bunny biscuits, Source: Chicken and Fishhead websiteChicken and Fishhead offers a café experience the whole family can enjoy.

The first half of the Beecroft establishment looks like your standard caf, with tables and chairs and a glass counter showing of tasty treats.

But head to the back and you’ll see a children’s paradise. The chalkboard, crayons and paper, books, and toys will keep little ones amused while the grown-ups chat.

Kids aren’t forgotten when it comes to food either. The kid’s lunch pack should please even the fussiest youngster. It includes a drink, small sandwich, fruit, popcorn, and a chocolate crackle, and it’s only $6.95. And I’m not sure there’s anywhere else in Sydney that sells fairy bread!

Adults will be happy too with a tempting selection of sandwiches, frittatas, and daily specials.

So forget McDonalds and their Happy Meals; the kids will be much happier at Chicken and Fishhead, and your tummy will thank you for it!
