Fiesta Festival at Darling Harbour

Get ready to rumba this long weekend at Darling Harbour’s Fiesta! Now in its 17th year, this is the largest Latin American festival in Australia!
Fiesta brings together traditional and modern acts from South America, Spain, and Australia. Highlights include performances from Club Havana and Chukale, and the high energy dance performances of Castanuelas, Argentinean Fabio Robles, and Groupo Capoiera Brasil.
If you’re inspired by the pros you can learn to salsa at the Palm Grove outdoor dance floor, then show off your new moves at the Harbourside Aquashell’s Fiesta Nights!
Once you’ve danced up an appetite enjoy authentic Latin American fare at Tumbalong Park. You can taste paella, tapas, empanadas, Spanish churros, Argentinean alfajore cookies, and heaps more. While you’re munching on these tasty treats browse the market stalls for Inca jewellery and other traditional arts and crafts.
Fiesta kicks off with Latin music and a stunning fireworks display on Friday 3 October.

And tonight we went to this! Being from Florida we were pretty excited to see Spanish food booths! Then we hit “Fly Me to the Moon” at the IMAX at Darling Harbor with the kids.
I think due to the insane winds tonight they closed the food booths early– we went back to grab some paella on the way out and everyone had packed up and was making a run for it.
