Food for the Future
These days everyone seems to be getting back to basics and eating more fresh local foods. And it’s little wonder: they taste
fantastic! If you want to learn more about this latest trend, make sure you check out the Food for the Future Fair this weekend.
While you’re there you can meet the farmers who grow our food, learn how to buy the freshest food (it’s not at your local supermarket!), and learn how to grow your own!
You can also sample fresh local produce, and take some home to enjoy later! There’ll be strawberries from Galston Strawberries, honey from the Blue Mountains, yummy treats from Sweetness: the patisserie, and plenty of nutritious fruit and veg.
Children’s games and live bands make this festival fun for the whole family.
