Glebe Point Road Comes Alive
If you’re looking for Christmas gifts with a difference then look no further than the Glebe Street Fair. The fair will celebrate its 24th year this Sunday, and it’s promising to be bigger and better than the last.
A unique range of stalls ensures you’ll pick up some one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts. After a day of shopping, you’ll be glad for the free lattes and cappuccinos being given away as part of the Gun Barista competition. Sydney’s finest coffeemakers will battle it out for the title, and you can taste their creations at the Life and Balance Centre in St Johns Road.
A diverse range of music will entertain shoppers. King Farook won the Epic Sydney Performer Challenge at last year’s fair, and they’re back again this year. Popular entertainer Monica Trapaga will bring her popular jazz outfit Monica and The Moochers to the event.
The Bowral Farmyard Friends are sure to be a big hit with the littlest fairgoers. Kids can get up close and personal with some of the fluffiest, furriest, and cutest animals around at this festival favourite. The popular children’s group Go Seek will also be on hand to keep the kids happy.
The Glebe Street Fair kicks off at 10 am this Sunday November 18 at Glebe Point Road, Glebe.
