Green Thumbs Flock to St Ives

by Lauren on March 28th, 2008

FlowerGardening buffs will want to get outs to St Ives this weekend for the Ku-ring-gai Garden Festival. This massive annual event will teach you what to do, and what not to do, to get the most out of your garden.

This year’s festival features more than 100 stalls, with heaps of tips and advice. If you want to learn more, why not check out one of the advisory clinics? There’s plenty of different topics, including plants, landscaping, water management, outdoor activities, hobbies, and arts and crafts, so there’s bound to be something to interest you. What’s more, it’s all covered in the price of admission.

Better Homes and Gardens gardening guru Graham Ross will be leading his own clinics which are sure to be a highlight of the festival.

If you don’t have a green thumb there’s still plenty to see at this event. The kids will love the roving magician, and the food stalls, wine tastings, and performers are sure to keep the grown ups happy.
