Messing Around With Boats

The Sydney International Boat Show is jetting into Sydney Harbour this Thursday. Whether you’re in the market for a new vessel, or you just want to dream about it, this fun festival has plenty to satisfy.
This year there are six halls, spanning more than 28, 000 square metres, and more than 270 exhibitors in the Darling Harbour Convention Centre alone. There’ll be more than 800 boats inside, but that’s not all.
Step outside and the action continues at the marina outside. This is where the really good stuff is, the “super yachts” priced up to $10 million each. I could never afford one, but I love to drool over them and pretend! The one kilometre outdoor space is the largest purpose-built marina in the Southern Hemisphere, so it’s the perfect place for more than 280 boats and over 100 exhibitors.
With a huge range of attractions, the show is fun for the whole family. All the leading marine retailers, manufacturers, importers, and distributors will be there, so you’re bound to find something to suit your taste and budget.
