Morgan’s Boutique Hotel Gets Revamp

by Lauren on November 20th, 2007

Morgan’s Honeymoon Suite, Source: Morgan’s Boutique Hotel websiteMorgan’s Boutique Hotel has just had a facelift, so there’s no better time to stay at this Victoria Street landmark.

The hotel offers 26 spacious suites and apartments, including two romantic honeymoon rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned with modern kitchenettes, cable television, and en-suite bathrooms.

A stay at the hotel wouldn’t be complete without sampling the cocktails at the hotel’s bar and restaurant, El Mohito. The bar serves 26 varieties of organic mohitos, and they taste delicious. I just don’t recommend trying them all at once!

The eatery’s commitment to organic produce is also evident in its dishes, which combine the tastes of the Mediterranean with Asian cuisine. All meals use organic, chemical-free ingredients, and you can wash your meal down with a glass of organic wine.

Morgan’s Boutique is located in the heart of Sydney, near the popular Oxford Street and Paddington shopping districts. All tourist attractions are close by, and most are within walking distance.

Location: Darlinghurst
Address: 304 Victoria Street
Public transport: Catch a train to Kings Cross station. Leave the station via the Darlinghurst Road exit, turn right, walk past the Coca-Cola sign and along Victoria Street to the hotel.
Parking: The secure parking station in Bayswater Road is a five-minute walk from the hotel and has 24-hour access. It costs $16 per night on Sundays to Thursdays, and $20 per night on Fridays and Saturdays.
Cost: Rooms are available from $169 a night.
