Poolside Dining
The Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Pool at Woolloomooloo Bay is one of Sydney’s most popular swimming spots. But did you know that you’ll also find one of Sydney’s coolest cafés here?
The Poolside Café is actually suspended over the pool. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows, diners can easily take advantage of this spectacular view. An outlook like this deserves some top-notch food, and the café delivers.
The decadent breakfast menu includes smoked salmon with haloumi cous cous and dill lime mayonnaise, Amazon acai berry with granola and fruit, and a traditional big breakfast with free-range eggs, bacon, chorizo sausages, mushrooms, and roast tomato.
If you visit at lunchtime you can look forward to tasty dishes like the roasted beetroot, ricotta and marjoram ravioli, and the Moroccan lamb burger.
It’s also a lot more affordable than you might expect around these parts. Most mains are between $10 and $20. The café is open every day from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
