Stories at the Four Seasons
Before I became the blogger you all know today, I worked for an educational software company. That passion for children’s education has never left me, so I’m always thrilled to hear of events which help kids learn while they’re having fun.
So I was excited to read about the Children’s Storytelling in The Rocks. The Four Seasons is a fairly unlikely setting for such an event, but good on them for getting on board.
The sessions are hosted by prominent children’s authors who share their latest books with the crowd of young fans. Afterwards the kids get a chance to meet their hero, and enjoy a delicious themed afternoon tea!
The events are hosted regularly, so keep an eye on the Four Seasons website to see what’s coming up. Anna Fienberg will appear on Saturday 12 July from 2 pm to 3:30. She’ll read her popular story, Tashi and the Phoenix.
It sounds like a really great way to inspire reluctant readers and to reward the littlest bookworms!
Dates: Next session is on Saturday 12 July

You know, I don’t know, but I’ve contacted the hotel to find out. Hopefully I’ll get an answer and I can pass the information on to you :-D

I finally heard back from the Four Seasons. They are planning on having more of these events but they’re not sure when (it all depends on when authors are available etc.) However she’s added me to their mailing list so I’ll find out when they’re on and post all the details up when I get them :-)
