Surry Hills Markets Give Hope
After a successful debut in winter, the Hope Street Markets are back for spring.
This weekend’s markets will introduce a fresh new lineup of young designers showcasing their fashion, art, jewellery, accessories, and more.
Marketgoers can browse through the stalls while they listen to music from live performers and DJs. Markets are notorious for sore feet, but the Hope Street Markets have this covered with their funky chill out area.
Music fans should check out the markets on Saturday evening, when the some of the hottest new independent performers will strut their stuff. This cool talent showcase kicks off at 6 pm.
The Hope Street Markets support HopeStreet, an organisation bringing hope to the homeless people in Sydney. A raffle of designers’ work will be run over the weekend to help the charity. Profits from the Hope Street Markets designer stall will also benefit HopeStreet.
The Hope Street Markets are on from midday to 9 pm on Saturday October 6 and midday to 5 pm on Sunday October 7.
