Sydney Celebrates Moon Festival
The Moon Festival is one of the most significant yearly events in Asia. This 1000-year old tradition celebrates the seasonal harvest and the beautiful full moon. Sydney may be a long way away from this Eastern continent, but the city’s Asian community ensures this occasion does not pass unnoticed.
If you want to join in, make sure you visit Bondi Junction on Saturday. The day will include Asian dance, arts and craft, and plenty of tasty Asian food. Yes of course there’ll be moon cakes!
