If you haven’t climbed the Harbour Bridge or visited the Royal Easter Show, you’re missing out on some of the best attractions Sydney has to offer. They were recently named joint winners of The Sunday Telegraph People’s Choice award at the NSW Tourism Awards.
BridgeClimb chief Todd Coates told The Sunday Telegraph the award had extra significance for his company who is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. A world record has been broken to celebrate BridgeClimbs’s 10th anniversary.
One hundred and thirty-seven climbers scaled the Sydney Harbour Bridge today brandishing flags from all different nations of the world. The feat put them into the Guiness World Records book for the most flags flown on a bridge.
The 137 flags represented the countries and territories of origin of the 2.2 million tourists that have climbed the bridge since tours began in 1998.
