Sydney Plans Fresh Food Revolution

Plans are underway for Sydney to become a fresh food city! The council plans to create more community gardens, employ a dedicated garden officer, and expand the Friday Farmers Market at Cook + Phillip Park.
Under the plan, new gardens will be built in Glebe and Ultimo, along with an exciting Kid’s Community Garden. There will also be more farmers markets in various locations around the city, helping us all enjoy fresher, better produce.
The proposal, which forms part of the City’s Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision, will be discussed at a council meeting tonight.
