All lanes, including the pedestrian and cycle paths, will be closed from 5:30 am to midday. Clearways will also be enforced from Broadway to the Pyrmont Bridge. All the hassles will be worth it though when the bridge’s New Zealand soldier statue is unveiled. The 4.2m figure joins the Australian soldier which has stood at the other end of the bridge for the last eight years. The New Zealand soldier faces east, while the Aussie digger faces west.
