We all enjoy a weekend away in a luxurious hotel. While we’re indulging ourselves, it can be all too easy to forget that close to 120,000 Australians are homeless. But aren’t there shelters for that kind of thing, you might ask? Well yes, but two out of three people are denied emergency accommodation because there’s simply no room.

The Streetsmart initiative gives you the chance to enjoy great food, and feel good doing it. Until December 24, diners at participating eateries can add $2 to their bill to help homeless people through the Streetsmart program.
Streetsmart gives money to small, local charities that are often miss out on fundraising assistance. 
During last year’s campaign, diners around the country raised more than $115, 000. To help Streetsmart raise even more this year, eat out at one of the following restaurants.
