Vintage Buses Make Australia Day Travel Easy

by Lauren on January 26th, 2008

Vintage bus, Source: Charlie Brewer @ Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/charliebrewer/Happy Australia Day to all my readers! I hope I’ve given you some great ideas about how you might like to spend our national day.

But what about getting there? We all know public transport is the way to go today, and there’s no better choice than the vintage buses. These double-decker beauties are the very same buses your parents and grandparents would have traveled in forty years ago.

They’ll stop at specially marked spots along George, Bridge, Alfred, Pitt, Elizabeth and Hay Streets between 11 am and 5 pm.
