Visit London, Switzerland, and Las Vegas in the Travel Channel!
It seems like only yesterday that I was the new kid in town, and now another three blogs have joined me in b5media’s
Travel Channel. These latest blogs are definitely worth a look if you’re hoping to visit these far-flung locations, or you’re simply curious about other corners of the world. So why don’t you stop by and make our newest bloggers feel at home?
Firstly we’ve got Jed at The London Traveler. I’ve always thought of London as one of the great cultural hubs of the world, and this blog hasn’t proved me wrong. There’s information here about Sex Pistols gigs, Quentin Tarantino appearances, chinese art exhibits, and the massive Thames festival. Apparently those crazy Brits also want to travel to Sydney by bus! That’s some trip!
I must admit, the only things I know about the Swiss are that they make chocolates and breed Saint Bernards. I’m looking forward to learning a lot more at The Switzerland Traveler. According to the blog’s host, Geoff, Switzerland also has fighting cows, a buzzing film festival, and some gorgeous scenery. And that’s just for starters!
The lights, the glitz, the glamour: it has to be Las Vegas. Heather shows you around her favourite city in The Las Vegas Adventurer. This blog shows you there’s more to Las Vegas than casinos, showgirls, and lounge singers. I’d love to visit M&M World, because a whole world of chocolate is every girl’s dream!

Hi Lauren, thanks for the plug! I can see that it’s not just the Swiss that have wacky competitions, those unicycle championships look a must! Really liked the blog, it’s been a while since I’ve been in Sydney (but only there for 3 days!) so hope to relive some happy memories!

Oh yeah, Australians are some of the craziest people I know :-) What did you see while you were in Sydney? Three days isn’t really enough, but I’m sure you figured that out ;-). Then again, I’m incredibly biased!
Thanks for stopping by!

No, you’re not biased - it wasn’t long enough! We were en route to friends in Brisbane/Gold Coast so didn’t have long. We stayed in the Rocks, and spent most of the time there, round the bridge and Opera House/Gardens etc, and a day on the beach at Manly. Very pleasant memories of Oz food wine and hospitality.
You’re lucky to be there :-)

Thanks Geoff! It sounds like you had a lovely trip. My best friend lives in Brisbane, it’s a lovely part of the world - unless you go in summer when it’s far too hot :-).
Aussie food and wine are two of my guiltiest pleasures ;-).
