Walk Against Warming

Walk Against Warming

Last year record numbers of environmentally-conscious Aussies took part in the Walk Against Warming. They demanded real action against climate change, and it sounds like the federal government heard them. Within a month Prime Minister Kevin Rudd had ratified the Kyoto Protocol!

Who knows what this year’s event will achieve? To help make a different get out to the Sydney event this Saturday! You’ll join thousands in the walk from Martin Place to Hyde Park. Once you finish up, why not relax with the free music, market stalls, and activities?

With this beautiful warm weather we’ve been having, there’s no better reason to get out amongst it this weekend!

Date: Saturday 15 November
Time: Walk commences at 11 am
Locations: From Martin Place to British Lawn, Hyde Park North
Cost: Free
