Welcome to The Sydney Traveler!
Hello and welcome to The Sydney Traveler, the latest blog to join b5media’s travel channel. My name’s Lauren, and I’ll be your virtual guide on this tour of one of Australia’s biggest and most exciting cities.
Sydney may be Australia’s oldest city, but don’t think this thriving metropolis is going stale. It offers some mouth-watering restaurants, a flourishing arts scene, and the hottest nightspots. From icons like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, to attractions off the tourist track, I’ll tell you where to go and what to do when you get there.
If you’re visiting Sydney, this blog will help you make the most of your stay. But that’s not all. I also hope to tell the locals a thing or two as well, inspiring them to get off the couch and check out the great attractions in their own backyard.
Do you have a favourite Sydney hangout or activity that I should know about? Please drop me an e-mail or post a comment. I’d love to hear what you think I should feature on The Sydney Traveler. I hope you enjoy your stay and that you remember to come back soon!

Hey Hey Lauren!!! I’d love to read an occasional post about the scuba diving off the Great Barrier and learning more about the Syndey Opera House.

Hi Jon! I’ll make sure to write some posts about the Opera House, both in terms of the building itself and what’s happening there - there’s always something good on from live theatre to rock concerts (I’m actually seeing Tori Amos there next month).
As for the Great Barrier Reef, that’s a really long way from Sydney - about three hours by plane. Australia’s so huge, maybe we’ll need to add some more b5media blogs to cover everything :-).

Thanks for the welcome. I didn’t expect anyone to visit before the launch, so don’t feel like it’s too belated ;-).
