Wharf Revue Takes Aim at the Election
With the federal election drawing ever closer, everyone’s mind seems to be on politics. If you’d rather have a laugh at the pollies than watch another desperate political ad, Beware of the Dogma is for you.
Wharf Revue veterans Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phil Scott wrote and star in this modern satire. Its chief concern is the upcoming federal election, but it also takes a swipe at the un-Australian sentiments of ex-pat Germaine Greer, Catholic Youth Day, and the downfall of the SBS.
The Wharf Revue has been in the business for eight years, and they only seem to get funnier. Limited tickets are still available, but don’t delay as they’re selling fast.
