Wind in the Willows Comes to the Gardens

The Wind in the Willows, Source: Australian Shakespeare Company websiteKenneth Grahame’s beloved novel The Wind in the Willows comes to life in a new stage show by The Australian Shakespeare Company.

All your favourite characters are there: Ratty, Mole, Badger, and of course Mr Toad. The magical performance is a real treat for little kids and big kids alike.

The Royal Botanic Gardens is the perfect setting for this tale of life on the riverbank. It’s also a great spot to enjoy a picnic as this beautiful play unfolds.

Dates: Tuesday to Saturday until January 26
Times: Performances at 11 am and 6 pm
Location: Royal Botanic Gardens, harbour side of the main pond
Address: Mrs Macquaries Road, Sydney
Public transport: The gardens are an easy walk from Martin Place Station or Circular Quay
Parking: Metered parking is available along Mrs Macquaries Road, Hospital Road, and Macquarie Street
Cost: All tickets $25 each or $85 for a group of four
