World’s Best Cyclists On Show
The best cyclists in the world will go head to head in Sydney this weekend at the Sydney Track Cycling World Cup.
World champions, Olympic stars, and Commonwealth Games heroes, including Aussie legends Ryan Bayley, Anna Meares, and Shane Kelly will compete during the three-day event.
This a key event on the world cycling calendar, giving these elite athletes a chance to score valuable points to help them qualify for the Beijing Olympics.
Date: Friday November 30 to Sunday December 2
Time: The action starts at 9 am on Friday, 1 pm on Saturday, and 10 am on Sunday
Location: Dunc Gray Olympic Velodrome
Address: Carysville Rd, Bass Hill
Public transport: You can catch a train to Bankstown or Yagoona train station, and then a connecting bus to the veledrome. Buses leave every 10 to 15 minutes.
Parking: Free parking is available at the venue
Cost: Tickets for one session cost $15 and $30 for adults and $10 and $15 for concessions (depending on the session). Family passes are $35 and $70. Discounted tickets for all sessions are available for $90 for adults, $45 for concessions, and $200 for families.
